    Killer Klowns From Outer Space. I never fail to watch it when it's on TV, which is hardly ever. So, so bad that it's actually kind of funny (good tongue in cheek stuff).

    I second Overboard. Pretty funny stuff.

    I think it was to show that he died old and alone, cut off from everyone else.

    I didn't get it at first, but whe you think about it, it does make sense.

    In The Godfather, it ends with him shutting the door to Kay -- symbolizing that he was keeping his family out of the business

    Godfather II ends with him alone in Tahoe -- having killed his brother and divorced his wife and pissed off Tom, leaving just his kids and his sister -- thinking about what his life could have been (that's the Christmas scene when he said he was enlisting).

    In Godfather III, his son hates him, his daughter dead, he has no family anyomore. In any sense of that word.
