While you should be hiding, your phrase made me think of a story my grandfather loves to tell.

<threadjack> Him and some buddies were out hunting one year and hadn't seen a thing all week. They are tired, hungry and crabby at the end and they hadn't raised, much less fired, their guns all week. They get to the last day and one of his companions suggests they all fire a few shots just so they would have an excuse to clean the gun. There was a very large rock -- it would be fair to call it a boulder -- nearby and his companion suggests they fire at the rock; they are far enough away that they don't have worry about the ricochet. So they take turns emptying out their frustrations on that boulder with a steady stream of bullets. They just unload into the rock as the worries and cares of their long week fade away...now they are laughing and finally enjoying themselves. As they finish and are about to leave, they see another hunter scurry away from behind the boulder, pale as a ghost wrapped in a sheet in a snowstorm. </threadjack>
