I was thinking you'd have to put "Born to Run" through "Nebraska" as one of those four-album runs.

I am gathering albums right now for a cover display in my basement. So far I have Pet Sounds, Rumours, What's a Going On and Highway to Hell.

Workingman's Dead and American Beauty, both released in 1970 (an incredible year for rock and roll).

For those of us not schooled in 60s - 80s RnR, how 'bout including artist names where possible?

Yeah, true enough, you could even make it five albums for Springsteen with Born In the USA....buddy of mine has an album cover display in his basement, looks pretty cool.

Another guy with a pretty solid four-album run: Bob Seger, Night Moves, Stranger in Town, Against the Wind and The Distance

As a Pink Floyd fan, I'll also nominate Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here.

Few artists have been so strong out of the gate as Jimi: Are You Experienced, Axis Bold as Love and Electric Ladyland

Van Halen had a pretty good start too: VH, VH II and Women and Children First. Fair Warning is good too but I don't think it is as strong as the first three.
