Best American Sports Writing 2011

    Yeah, not to scrap, but I can think of several right off the top of my head in my experience, but I'm not going to go into a list because it's a complete non-issue.

    It helps; but if you provide a copy of a story, it will be considered, subscription or not. Pretty basic.

    When does The Best American SportsJournalists.com Writing come out?

There's a review of the book (http://www.nyjournalofbooks.com/review/best-american-sports-writing-2011) which states that Glenn read about 10,000 articles and, from that collection, forwarded 71 stories to this year's editor, Jane Leavy, who pared it down to the 29 that made the book. Pretty stiff competition to say the least.
