I own many albums from the 90's, but I own exactly one of these and it is in the play-in pool. Geuss I've just never been a front runner.

Yeah, that was top 10 on Rolling Stone's list. I can't believe Badmotorfinger and Exile in Guyville have to resort to the play-in game.

Phil Anselmo thinks this list is bullshit. And his back hurts, motherfucker!

I sat out much of the 1990s musically.

Heard a lot of what was popular. Didn't dig a lot of it.

    This should be fun.

August and Everything After (Counting Crows)
    Throwing Copper (Live)
    Sublime (Sublime)
    Baduizm (Erykah Badu)
    Supa Dupa Fly (Missy Elliot)
    BadMotorFinger (Soundgarden)
    Parklife (Blur)
Tuesday Night Music Club (Sheryl Crow)
    Girlfriend (Matthew Sweet)
    Me Against the World (2pac)
    Exile in Guyville (Liz Phair)
Cracked Rear View (Hootie and the Blowfish)
Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em (MC Hammer)
The Fat of the Land (Prodigy)
Temple of the Dog (Temple of the Dog)
Shake Your Money Maker (Black Crowes)

OK, can't use my last two votes.

    My Final Four would be

    Dirt
    Ten
    Chronic
    Low End Theory

What I think it will be is: Nevermind, Ten, Chronic, Metallica

Ten over The Chronic in the final.

Most of this music sucks, but I didn't walk uphill for 3 miles to this thread not to vote:

    East
    1 Nevermind (Nirvana) vs. TBD -- Play-in doesn't matter
8 The Bends (Radiohead) vs. 9 Weezer (Weezer) -- Radiohead sucks
5 Superunknown (Soundgarden) vs. 12 Doggystyle (Snoop Doggy Dogg) -- Great grunge album
4 Ready To Die (Notorious B.I.G.) vs. 13 3 Years, 5 Months, & 2 Days in the Life of... (Arrested Development) -- I have to vote for someone, and Biggie got shot, so he gets my vote
6 Out of Time (R.E.M.) vs. 11 Ritual De Lo Habitual (Jane's Addiction) -- No winners here
3 Jagged Little Pill (Alanis Morissette) vs. 14 Unplugged (Eric Clapton) -- Really?
7 Dirt (Alice In Chains) vs. 10 I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got (Sinead O'Connor) -- YGBFKM
2 Automatic For The People (R.E.M.) vs. TBD -- Anything's better than this particular R.E.M. album

    Midwest
1 Ten (Pearl Jam) vs. 16 TBD -- The peak of Eddie and the boys
8 Definitely Maybe (Oasis) vs. 9 MTV Unplugged in New York (Nirvana) -- Underrated album
5 CrazySexyCool (TLC) vs. 12 Vitalogy (Pearl Jam) -- Again ...
4 Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (Smashing Pumpkins) vs. 13 Tragic Kingdom (No Doubt) -- Whatever happened to Billy Corgan?
6 Rage Against The Machine (Rage Against The Machine) vs. 11 Use Your Illusion I (Guns N' Roses) -- Can't stand these leftish douchebags, but I can't deny that album had some great songs
3 Dookie (Green Day) vs. 14 Check Your Head (Beastie Boys) -- Holding my nose
7 Odelay (Beck) vs. 10 Grace (Jeff Buckley) -- Why not?
    2 Achtung Baby (U2) vs. 15 TBD -- U2 at its overratedest

    South
1 Ok Computer (Radiohead) vs. 16 TBD -- Radiohead still sucks
8 Aquemini (Outkast) vs. 9 Urban Hymns (The Verve) -- I know one song between these.
5 Illmatic (Nas) vs. 12 Aenima (Tool) -- Terrible seeding!
4 Downward Spiral (Nine Inch Nails) vs. 13 Vs. (Pearl Jam) -- Can Pearl Jam play itself in the final?
6 Siamese Dream (Smashing Pumpkins) vs. 11 Use Your Illusion II (Guns N' Roses) -- Don't care what happened to Billy Corgan
3 Blood Sugar Sex Magik (Red Hot Chili Peppers) vs. 14 Violator (Depeche Mode) -- Finally, a really, really good album
7 All Eyez on Me (2pac) vs. 10 Life After Death (Notorious B.I.G.) -- Seriously? Not even the shot-to-death tiebreaker works here. I'm gonna say I like how Biggie flows. Is that how the kids say it?
2 The Chronic (Dr. Dre) vs. 15 TBD -- Shoot me.

    West
1 The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (Lauryn Hill) vs. 16 TBD -- Ms. Hill wouldn't want my vote.
8 Enter the Wu-tang (36 Chambers) (Wu-Tang Clan) vs. 9 The Slim Shady LP (Eminem) -- Eh.
5 The Low End Theory (A Tribe Called Quest) vs. 12 Californication (Red Hot Chili Peppers) -- Far from their best, but still pretty good
4 The Score (Fugees) vs. 13 Supernatural (Santana) -- I liked that one song
6 In Utero (Nirvana) vs. 11 Ill Communication (Beastie Boys) -- Running out of shit to say
3 (What's the Story) Morning Glory (Oasis) vs. 14 Cypress Hill (Cypress Hill) -- I think this is the album I thought I voted for earlier.
7 Fear Of A Black Planet (Public Enemy) vs. 10 AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (Ice Cube) -- Sigh.
2 Metallica (a.k.a. The Black Album) (Metallica) vs. 15 TBD -- I like this album more than I should

I liked Life After Death as my favorite rap album. I can still see Ten overtaking Biggie and Nirvana. Just too many great songs.
