I did that within the confines of my own votes, I didn't do a separate snarky post on top of it.

But point taken. It's all good in this corner of the internet woods.

(But Slippery When Wet? Jesus Christ, Piotr, why don't you just admit you have a vagina and be totally open about it?)

    :D :D

I own the FIFA 12 video game. The only track on it I have turned off is the one in which Robert Smith sings.

    Whiny, bitchy bullshit.

I really like The Cure's best work, but I get that entirely. A lot of the stuff is miserable. Disintegration and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me are not. Is it possible you don't like "Just Like Heaven"?

Agree with all who say this could easily be a Final Four matchup.

Disagree with the comment about The Unforgettable Fire. The first four songs on that record are among U2's best.

Some clear oversights by the selection committee:

    Night Ranger-Dawn Patrol
    REO Speedwagon-High Infidelity
    Megadeth-Peace Sells
    Rush-Moving Pictures

I probably would have had it going to the Final Four, not sure about the final.

Need to repost my list as I keep discovering albums the selection committee left off:

    The Blasters - The Blasters
    Double Fantasy - John Lennon
    Centerfield - John Fogerty
Oh Mercy - Bob Dylan (IMHO one of the Top 5 Dylan albums ever)
    High InFidelity - REO Speedwagon
Private Eyes - Hall & Oates
Sports - Huey Lewis & the News

    Relegated to the NIT:
    Escape - Journey

Oh come on, it's "American Music"! And if they get there against some 80s juggernaut it would be "So Long, Baby, Goodbye"!
