ESPN is guessing Hopkins by a point. 10-8 first round the difference.

Calzaghe fought dirty. Not a bad fight, not the best I've seen.

Really bad fight all around between a lot of dirty shit and a lack of clean punches landed.

Calzaghe-Roy Jones is a better style matchup for both. I was REALLY happy to see Roy turn back the clock against Trinidad.

Chad Dawson is still the best at 175.

I wish he was but his defense is shit and he won't beat Tarver. Tarver is way too slick and skilled for him. He's basically Jeff Lacy 2K8 without the punching power.

Where you OK with Hopkins' prefight comments that "he isn't losing to no white boy"?

  9. Didn't hear that.

Of course not but where was the outrage when Hopkins made his comments. (not from you, but boxing writers, etc.)

If Calzaghe said anything similiar, the shitstorm would have been off the charts.

I was wondering how Cal would do outside Cardiff. Last fight I saw of his, ref stopped it in the third round before he even hurt Peter Manfredo (Pete was basically playing rope-a-dope, with Cal landing a lot but nothing telling, but it's a really foolish thing to do on the other guy's home turf).
