I am thinking a 1-All-All when I go to bet today. A longshot has to get in there somewhere.

Based on the times of the races, Big Brown would have finished behind both Sectretariat and Sham in both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. His only competition today may be Big Red's time in the Belmont Stakes: 2:24.0. And that time will not be touched.

And the last Triple Crown winner... possible the greatest head-to-head racing ever:

    It's going to pay $50. If you're lucky, $150.

True, since everyone against a 1-10 horse is a longshot. But I can't see 1-all-all being worth it.

If you like Big Brown, get your $2 souvenir ticket (watch ebay tomorrow if he wins, there might be thousands for sale) and don't put one more cent on any bets with him.

Take three longshots in a $6 tri box and cross your fingers. That payoff would be insane.

Oy vay, Rick Reilly earning his ABC/ESPN money doing pre-race schtick with Musburger....a very unfunny Top Ten list, and a very Defordian shirt/tie combo.

I'm not much for horse racing. But I'm watching. It's silly, though, to see these people hushing the crowd.

That profile on Dutrow sort of makes him look like a scumbag.
