1 Big Brown (Kent Desormeaux, 2-5)
    2 Guadalcanal (Javier Castellano, 50-1)
3 Macho Again (Garrett Gomez, 20-1)
4 Denis of Cork (Robby Albarado, 12-1)
5 Casino Drive (Edgar Prado, 7-2)
    6 Da'Tara (Alan Garcia, 30-1)
7 Tale of Ekati (Eibar Coa, 20-1)
8 Anak Nakal (Julien Leparoux, 30-1)
    9 Ready's Echo (John Velazquez, 30-1)
10 Icabad Crane (Jeremy Rose, 20-1)

If BB wins, Dutrow, the trainer, will be absolutely insufferable.

Which is why I need my Denis of Cork-Casino Drive exacta to come in. I just can't stand any of the humans surrounding Big Brown.

Won the Peter Pan Stakes by 5 1/2 lengths. Son of Mineshaft who sired Better Than Honour, who is the mother of Jazil and Rags to Riches. Kent Desormeaux (Big Brown's jockey) rode him to victory in the stakes.

Trained by the top guy in Japan, for whatever that's worth; I know zip about horse racing in Japan.

CD and BB will be two-thirds of my boxed trifecta on Saturday. Need suggestions for the other horse in the trio.

Wagering alert: If you like Big Brown to win and you have access to making this bet through an online site, the payoff will be FAR more lucrative. There are at least two sites that currently are offering Big Brown at 1-to-3; at the track, no one's going to be surprised if he's 1-to-10 (or worse) at post time.

Don't do that... you'd win like 50 bucks.

    Casino Drive may not make the gate . . . apparent hind-end locomotion issues . . .
as foreshadowed by Thursday's terrible morning workout . . . awaiting further word.

Well, there goes one of my bets that I would have placed. I wanted to box a trifecta without Big Brown in it, and Casino Drive was going to be one of the horses to be in it. I was thinking Icabad Crane, Casino Drive and Denis of Cork. Now, I am unsure.
