Bada Bing! Sopranos movie rumor surfaces
    > Posted by tjicha at 1:44:44 PM

Was the maddeningly frustrating Sopranos finale a set-up for a movie?

Could be, according to a story in The (Bergen County, N.J.) Record. The newspaper quotes the manager of Satin Dolls, the strip club that played Bada Bing in the HBO mob drama, as saying he has been requested not to make planned renovations to the club so that it will look the same for a Sopranos movie. ...

Could be a regular who doesn't want to give up his stool, pulling a prank, though.

As much as I liked the ending, I still like -- as I mentioned before -- the idea of a Godfather II-type movie.

Half set in present time, half set in Tony's childhood.

Only thing that smells a little off....

Why would this guy change the joint and lose its connection from the show?

Satriale's, which was never a real store, has already been torn down. It will be turned into townhomes.

That sounds pretty legit and not just wishful thinking.

Still, I'm with Chef here. That was one of the most iconic endings in TV history. The beauty was in the intrepretation. Do a movie and that magic is gone.

If Chase had the balls, I'd love to see an entire flashback movie with none of the original cast.
