Being Kristol Means Never Having To Say You're Sorry

Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by Fenian_Bastard, Dec 29, 2007.

  1. If any sports columnist was as wrong as this guy's been over the past seven years, the bowling agate desk would await him.
    Nice job, liberal NYT.

By "wrong" you actually mean "doesn't agree with me."

    Provably wrong . . . demonstrably wrong . . .

Probably due to get a medal from Bushie, sometime before January '09.

    no, by wrong we mean:

    and

    and

    and

    (quote taken from 2004)

    and

    and

    and

and on. and on. and bloody, american-killing, reputation-ruining on.

Jesus, don't confuse folks with facts. It's tough enough to get through the day.

  7. Then, there was what he said about his newest employer:

“I think it is an open question whether the Times itself should be prosecuted for this totally gratuitous revealing of an ongoing secret classified program that is part of the war on terror.” [Fox News, 7/2/06]
“I think the Justice Department has an obligation to consider prosecution.” [Fox News, 6/25/06]

Stockholm Syndrome at the Sulzberger manse.

  8. Wrong = don't agree with me. Confirmed.

Lyman, I've told you this before, and I'll tell you this again, I'm sure: You're smarter than that argument.

Bill Kristol has been shown over the past five years to be completely divorced from reality. That isn't partisan. That's just true.

  10. Zeke, sometimes things come down to the basics. After all, it's our job to be simple and direct, right? :)

If we're going to start suggesting columnists who are "wrong" be banished from the medium, we're going to have a lot fewer columnists.
