Note: For those interested, don't just be prepared to do video work, but want to do it. We've really been producing a lot lately. Thursday, alone, I did a weather video and time-lapse of lightning, we had another time-lapse, a video of the flooding going on up in the canyon and a quickie about local farm workers being struck by lightning. Granted, it was definitely a heavy video day with five locally produced originals, but we're pushing it and everyone on staff is really doing a great job of putting out quality shorts without much effort.

Just filming an interview is fine, but we're trying to do more in-depth work than that.

Also, we just posted an opening today for an environmental reporter, a really big beat here. Our previous reporter was phenomenal and has accepted a position at a national publication in NYC. Posting is here:
