Might not be possible since the game's in early evening, but . . .

Many years ago on the day of the "BIG GAME", our local paper sent a columnist to the library, to talk to a bunch of people who obviously did not care one bit about the "BIG GAME" that was going on at that very moment.

It might take a good writer to pull it off. But ours did that day.

The library is open on Sunday night?

Our "BIG GAME" was a college football game.

That's why my post for this one said "Might not be possible since the game's in early evening, but . . . "

And many libraries are open Sunday night. Especially those on a college campus. University of Tennessee's Sunday hours for its main library are noon-3 a.m. (that's right, A.M.)

And it won't be evening in New Orleans or Indy when the game kicks off . . . or in Mountain and Pacific time zones should one of their teams make it.

And it doesn't have to be a library. Can be any place where there are no TVs and no evidence that a Super Bowl is being played.

You might also look at schools or workplaces that are closing up shop Monday or delaying their opening with the expectation that everyone (including little schoolchildren) is getting shit-faced Sunday night. You see this happening more in Super Bowl cities as schools and companies realize they're better off working harder later rather than trying to get anything productive done the morning after the Super Bowl.

You can contrast that with, say, managers who call 7 a.m. meetings for Super Bowl Monday just to be jerks.

Anyone still around who has a bag from the "Aints" days?

Since there have been several SBs in NO - check with those who "worked" during previous game weeks and the difference now that the Saints are actually in the game.

tattoo parlors are always good - check crime stats to find out if the success has impacted crime - find someone who had scheduled a wedding or other big event for SB Sunday never figuring the Saints would be in the game.
