BCS title game thread: Nick Saban will burn every hat in Louisiana if he has to

How so?

 

He was repeatedly stopped for photos by fans of both schools. Lots of glad-handing and back-slapping too.

 

That sucks. I was kinda hoping he got the crap kicked out of him.

 

I think I'm suffering serious SEC fatigue. I just can't get myself excited about this game tonight. Seems like a regional affair. Someone will win. Someone will lose. If history is any indication, it won't be a very good game.

I love college football, but the BCS title game just feels so anti-climactic to me. For one thing, I'm over college football at this point, the bowl season is so drawn out now.

 

I picked LSU by two TDs in the first matchup (missed horribly). And I'm picking them again by two TDs in this matchup. I think playing in the Superdome in front of a charged-up (and drunk as hell) crowd will end up being the difference. Bama will make one or two mistakes that LSU will capitalize on and will pull away in the fourth quarter.
