    I shall take LSU.

    You shall take the loser.

I get it. This is the thread where we talk about how two teams that averaged 38.5 and 36 points per game are terrible on offense.

Yeah, I know the usual cautions about putting too much emphasis on a bowl game after a long layoff, but the way Arkansas shut down K-State -- which scored 45 points against Oklahoma State -- suggests that the top of the SEC is playing an entirely different game, especially on defense.

dixie, you must not watch the games because all of those points were scored by Tyrann Mathieu and Mark Barron.

Oof. This is what I get for typing 500 words with my eyes half closed.

When the guys voting on the AP poll decide to create a story instead of simply casting a vote.

Yep. Trent Richardson only counted for 138 of them. That's all.

I can't decide whether the SEC haters want Alabama to win so they can say Oklahoma State should be No. 1 or LSU to win so they can say Alabama shouldn't have been in the title game. Anyone care to clue me in?

Every time Richardson scored, it was because a defender was pushed out of bounds at the 1-yard line after an interception or fumble return. Look it up.
