My grandmother lived in Troy for decades. My only beef with Troy was the overuse of the Michigan left-turns. Those who have been to Michigan know what I'm talking about.

    Mmmm Somerset Mall.

I have no problem walking around in dowtown St. Louis at night, never had a problem, never feared one.
Detroit? Won't do it with an armed guard. Day or night.

I walked the mean streets of Detroit one summer night and survived. It wasn't a pleasant evening, but life went on the next day.

I've also braved Gary at night. That was a little more harrowing.

Is Somerset Mall even open anymore?

Michigan lefts are even worse than New Jersey lefts.

St. Louis is dangerous, but the criminals all wear tassled loafers and cardigan sweaters.

It was open three years ago when she moved up north. I can't imagine a mall with that much money in it would close. At least not now.

I think you're thinking of some other mall. Somerset is in a very affluent city and has a bunch of high end stores.

It's only been open maybe 10 years.

I was thinking of the one in Southfield that they tore down a few years back. Nevermind.
