I think you need to say "United States" instead of "America" or this thread will get locked because our Canadian friends will complain.

The state of Massachusetts would like a word with you outside, Cousin Oliver.

The Massachusettes, they're the cheerleaders, right?

If Ottawa wins, it's Harry Reid's fault.

  7. It's absurd that on a message board for journalists, we can't be mature enough to be allowed to talk about a major, major Congressional race.

Agreed. The right wingers ruin the country and SportsJournalists.com. ;)

It's the Senators' fault. The Bruins do a better job of listening their fans.

No it's not. It's a journalism board. In theory, anything that isn't explicitly journalism-related is extracurricular. There's plenty of places to indulge your desire to talk politics. It's been decided by the people that run this board that it does more harm than good here.

If we couldn't talk about job cuts or openings or engage in state of the business discussions, that's another kettle of korn. That's not the case.
