  6. A true win-win.

    1) Real journalists prove content DOES matter to readers.

    2) Non-local ownership gets shown the door.

    Maybe there's hope for this industry yet.

    Very neat story.

    I do think there's still opportunity to make a living in newspapers in small and mid-markets. If they're able to operate individually like this and get the mountain of debt their parent companies are carrying off their backs.
