    Correct me if I'm wrong, but his performance is seen to be a weak spot in the movie, no?

    Could it be he's jealous of a person who's passed away??

    I don't know if I'd call it weak. I think everyone pales in comparison to Ledger...but Bale didn't suck.

    I've seen at least two reviews mildly critical of his performance.

    (Granted, I haven't seen the film and actually haven't read much about it...)

    But it sounds like a slam dunk for Best Picture, and Ledger sounds like a slam dunk for Best Actor.

    Where does that leave Bale, oh he of I've-already-shed-65-pounds-for-a-role-what-do-I-have-to-do-to-get-my-effing-statue?
