    DD was a big kid. He, Lloyd (World) and Jelly Bean had a lot of fun with reporters. They shot them a notebook full of crazy quotes, some of which song lyrics, and the press would gobble it up.

    Reports are saying Pitino, Tarkanian, Lewis and Payton will be announced as inductees on Monday.

    Louisville's Rick Pitino, Guy Lewis of Houston, Jerry Tarkanian of UNLV and Sylvia Hatchell of North Carolina, former NBA stars Bernard King and Gary Payton and former University of Virginia star Dawn Staley.

    All worthy. Of course as I have stated before I wish they wouldn't induct current coaches. They'd still have a five-person class, to say nothing of the five previously announced inductees.

    Feel bad for Spencer Haywood, who apparently was told he was in.
