Let's just say this is a "clear the ballot" election because those NBA first-timers are down from recent years

Curt Gowdy should be in every Hall of Fame.

Kim Mulkey should be in as a player AND a coach. And, of course, Becky should be in.

I know he's in Cooperstown, but why not Bill King?

I remember Sikma being better than these stats.

    Are any players getting in?

Hardaway, Moncrief and Webber are the best candidates. I could see all three getting in. Kevin Johnson would be in the mix but I don't know if they committee goes for him with his recent troubles. Billups and Wallace are going to be interesting. It will depend on who the voters are.

I wouldn't put anyone else in. Sikma's probably the best of that bunch, maybe Bobby Jones if you put a great premium on defense.

They put in six from the North American group last year. My six would probably be:

    Tim Hardaway (PLA)
    Ed Hightower (REF)
    Sidney Moncrief (PLA)
Jim Phelan (COA) (the guy is 89. Put him in please)
    Eddie Sutton (COA)
    Chris Webber (PLA)

    Hardaway for his crossover alone.

At his best with the Pistons, Billups was a great player. He’s a guy whose stats don’t represent his true value.

NBA really is a hall of very good.

He’s the Harold Baines of the NBA
