That rumble of laughter you just heard came from Eric Gregg's grave.

Crushing finish in Atlanta. Braves got 2, loaded the bases and lost on a baserunning error on a wild pitch.

And Brad Lidge locks down the NL East for the Phillies.

    Fucking awesome.

    Not yet, zeke.

What did you think of Gardy's pitch out in the second inning?

Runner on first, one out. First pitch to Polanco was a pitchout, second pitch was a ball. That really allowed Leyland to put the hit and run on, which set up the big inning.

Man, I don't remember Stein's game at all.

The Indians and White Sox completed a doubleheader in just over five hours today. That includes time between the games, which was extended from about 20 minutes to 40 minutes when the first game finished much earlier than expected and the second game went off at 7:05 as originally scheduled.

I do love Buehrle games for that reason.

Ya, a 1-0 Buehrle game is gonna last about as long as the first five innings of any Yankees-Red Sox game.

Yeah, but the rate it's going, the NL West race isn't. Dodgers slopping through another game in San Diego.
