If he is, he should see a doctor.

A-Rod makes any team he's on better between April and August. After August I'd rather have Canseco taking cuts and playing the hot corner.

Nah, Tigers don't win always. They did lose on Saturday, ya know?

And I see where the Twins have adjusted their rotation so that Liriano and Santana get to face the Tigers this weekend. Did they forget they have a series with the White Sox first?

Here are Turnbow's 4 blown saves:

    July 1, at Minnesota
Enters the game, Milw. leads 7-6, bottom of 8th, two outs, Castillo on 2nd
    D Turnbow relieved B Shouse.
M Cuddyer tripled to deep center, L Castillo scored.
    J Morneau intentionally walked.
T Hunter hit by pitch, J Morneau to second.
S Stewart walked, M Cuddyer scored, J Morneau to third, T Hunter to second.
    M Wise relieved D Turnbow.

    July 3, vs. Cincy
Enters the game in top of 9th, Milwaukee leading 6-4, no outs, no runners
    D Turnbow relieved J Capellan.
    J LaRue walked.
J Valentin hit for J Standridge.
J Valentin grounded out to first.
F Lopez walked, J LaRue to second.
A Dunn singled to right center, J LaRue scored, F Lopez to third.
R Freel ran for A Dunn.
K Griffey Jr doubled to deep center, F Lopez and R Freel scored.
R Aurilia popped out to second.
    S Hatteberg walked.
    M Wise relieved D Turnbow.

    July 14, at Arizona
Enters the game in bottom of the 9th, no outs, no one on, Brewers up 3-2
    D Turnbow relieved B Shouse.
L Gonzalez doubled to deep right.
J Estrada homered to right, L Gonzalez scored.

    July 19, at San Fran
Enters the game in bottom of the 9th, no outs, no one on, Brewers up 6-5
    D Turnbow relieved D Bush.
B Bonds hit for T Linden.
B Bonds singled to right center.
J Vizcaino ran for B Bonds.
    O Vizquel struck out looking.
S Finley doubled to center, J Vizcaino to third.
    M Alou intentionally walked.
R Durham singled to shallow right center, J Vizcaino and S Finley scored, M Alou to second.

Turnbow has shown the inability to do anything right: he gives up walks and hits and isn't striking guys out. Since the All-Star Game (where, in a minor miracle, he did not give up a run), his stat line goes like this:

0 saves, 2 blown saves, .667 batting average against, 47.25 ERA, 1.1 IP

Oh, 4 blown saves in July. I thought it was 4 blown saves overall. My bad.

Edit: And I can't feel bad about the blown save to the Reds because Griffey's on my roto team, and I really needed those RBIs. ;D

But I feel your pain: I'm a Dodgers fan whose team has won one playoff game since 1988.

Here is how bad my pain is: The 1988 World Series is one of my most cherished childhood memories because the only one the Brewers ever gave me was the 1992 season.

P.S. The blown save to the Reds doesn't hurt as bad since the Brewers scored two in the bottom of the ninth. :D

Makes sense. And it looks like Bonderman, Rogers and Verlander for the Tigers against the Twins.

Big week for the Twinkies. Hopefully they go 3-3.  ;) :D

Jered Weaver has won his first seven starts with the Angels. Here's who he has beaten so far -- Baltimore, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Seattle, Oakland and Kansas City twice. He beat the Royals again today. While it is impressive for a rookie to start his MLB career off like this, is it too much hype for a guy who has only beaten one top team (Oakland's in first place) and a handful of the bottom feeders of the AL?

I'm feelin' a lotta love on this thread ... Goes without saying that my name is not Turnbow

In my defense, I wished you good luck and did so 13 minutes before you added the qualifer about insults against players being permissable.

The Angels sent him down after his 4-0 start. Man, after 7-0 they're going to give him his unconditional release.
