Melancon has now walked the bases loaded.

Time for him to walk to Scranton or wherever the hell the Yankees' Triple-A club is now.

Did we see signs of life from J.J. Hardy tonight? Maybe the two days off did him some good. 3-3, 4 RBIs and a walk.

    And that's No. 17.

Poor Buccos ... don't even bother showing up in August when they're scheduled to meet the Brewers again.

  5. What is more impressive?

A - The Dodgers 11 straight home wins (so far) to start the season

    or

B - The 17 straight victories (so far) by the Brewers over the Pirates?

    Which is more macho?

Well, we are talking about the Pirates here.

And the Dodgers' run has come against the rest of the NL West.

So that makes it a wash.

  8. How close do you think Nick Swisher was to pitching in that game?

I'm going to keep my mouth shut because this happens every year between the Sox and Yankees. The Sox over start out hot against the Yankees, then they storm back and end up taking the season series towards the season's end.

  10. You do realize that Joe Girardi is coaching the Yankees? Right?

Joe was so impressed with his performance against the Rays earlier this season, he was saving him in case he needed him tomorrow.

Ozzie only wishes he could have made 70 errors at age 22 like Buck did.
