Baseball Thread 3 - The Jody Reed Edition

I was going to go with Babe Ruth but screw that.

 

Jody Reed came in 3rd in the 1988 AL ROY voting. I think that class of rookies may have been the weakest class in my life.

That looks pretty awful. Walt Weiss hit .253 and won the ROY.

Poor Tom Browning. Probably wishes he'd been with the Royals 10 years earlier.

 

Ozzie Guillen wasn't bad.

Plus his most similar player at age 22 was Buck Weaver

 

6th pitcher of the night for the Yankees.

 

And they all have sucked, well except Chamberlain after the first 5 batters.

 

Give him credit-he definitely settled down after that. 12k's ain't too shabby, to say the least.
