Baseball In Vegas Running Thread

Who's going next week? This is the place for all the stories. Boom will be there with eyes wide open looking to report here at sj all of your indiscretions so be aware. Also working on 21 to attend but travel schedule could be limiting factor.

 

Let's ask it this way: How many of you baseball guys, who previously went to the Winter Meetings, are no longer going to those meetings because of cutbacks and other constraints?

That said, Boom and I will still be there to report on Dave Sheinin's annual piano recital. Do not miss it. Hope to see you in Vegas.

 

Its been documented that after 11:00 p.m. over half the women in the bars and casinos at the MGM or NYNY are hookers.

Lets everybody be careful out there.

 

First report from LV - too spread out with no real set spot for the "lobby rats" to congregate and trade rumors.

Major league folks seem to all be at the Bellagio and the Minor league people are at the LV Hilton.

The rodeo is also in town which creates a funny combo of people in their uniforms

Rodeo people in their wranglers and cowboy hats and baseball people in their khakis and button downs although I thought I saw Joel Sherman in the lobby of Bellagio wearing a huge cowboy hat and chaps.

 

Ass-less chaps?

My mother won't go to Vegas, I think we're safe.

 

If someone was sent, they're probably being asked to cover the winter meetings AND the rodeo.

 

This isn't Boom's first time at the rodeo.
