Half of last year's postseason teams started with a sub-.500 April.

Yankees were 9-14, Phillies 11-14, Cubs 10-14 and Rockies 10-16.

That said, none of them started the season 0-6 either.

When did spirited turn his wrath from Joe Mauer?

When Tom Glavine shit the bed on the last day of the 2007 season and basically said, "Oh well, it's just a game."

Fuck Tom fucking piece of shit Glavine.

And the Mauer stuff was mostly to bust Zeke.

Incidentally, after a brief flirtation with the lucidity of hitting Mauer second, Cuddyer going on the DL gave Gardenhire his excuse to move Mauer back to the three-hole.

But at least he's no longer batting Punto there. Progress is slow.

Can't be true. The Pirates are still in the NL Central.

It's kinda unfair to the rest of the division if you count the Pirates count, isn't it?

I'm sure the Phillies' phans are thrilled over a summer worth of Brad Lidge.

    First save opp. 5-2 lead.

Bomb to the warning track, one out. Two out. Walk. Fly ball dropped. Intentional walk. Wild pitch. Wild pitch, runners hold. Strikeout on 3-2 pitch. 5-3 final.

And that's one of his easy saves.

Help me out here, any runs that score after an error is made with two outs in an inning are all unearned, right?

As long as it's an error that would have resulted in the third out, yes.

Then the asshats doing radio in Pittsburgh don't know what they're talking about then.

Ronny Cedeno airmailed a throw to first with two outs that gave Pittsburgh two runs.

Aramis Ramirez made another throwing error that allowed two more runs to score.

Then Ted Lilly gave up a triple that scored a fifth run.

The announcers said that since Lilly gave up the triple all five runs are earned.

    Doesn't make sense.
