    Weirdly - or perhaps presciently - given the Bonds retort, Costas went out of his way on the show to say that he and Bonds had always gotten along.

    And that's what everybody should be focusing on. Schilling STFUs in front of Congress, but then yaps like crazy for Costas.

    It was what I was thinking while watching it ... and I am sure a lot of other people too. Costas did press him on it. Schilling thought he could BS it by saying something like, "If I named names and I was wrong about any of them, I could be sued." And Costas rightly then said, "You had been very outspoken before ever going before Congress WITHOUT naming names. Why did you back off when you had the TV cameras on you?" The blowhard had no answer.
