Playoff, if you were a true greyhound fan, you'd know that your avatar is Santa's Little Helper. :)

As for the horse, whatever. I just hope somebody puts that much effort into saving me when I'm old and want to get my fuck on.

He's at the U. of Pennsylvania's Vet Clinic. Could it be partially paid for by state tax dollars?

I heard it was the insurance company paying the vet bills because they are on hook for $40 million if he dies. Not sure if it is a true, but heard from guy who owns racehorses.

If they had to euthanize the horse, they could collect insurance payment.
In the end, because his stud career will not happen even if he lives, this will end up costing the owners a fortune in veterinary expenses.
Do you mind being so wrong?

I might not be wrong at all, if it is indeed the fkng insurance company ordering all this to happen.

Depends on the individual registry. The Jockey Club does require an actual "encounter." The American Quarter Horse Association does not.

Dammit: The University of Pennsylvania is a private institution with no connection to the Pennsylvania state university system, according to Penn's online FAQ.

TSP, could you explain how exactly attempting to keep the horse alive is affecting your life? You seem pretty worked up about it.

You probably cheered when they put Ol' Yeller down.
