Special will air Wednesday December 14 at 9:30 pm (ET) on ABC.

    The list:

    The Kardashian Family
    Simon Cowell
    Cast of Modern Family
    Derek Jeter
    Donald Trump
    Katy Perry
    Pippa Middleton

She will reveal the last 3 spots during the special.

    Any guesses?

I'll make a few guesses: Adele, Joe Paterno, Charlie Sheen, Michele Bachmann, Brad Pitt, Tim Tebow, Steve Jobs.

That is what passes for fascinating?

I don't think anyone on that list is even mildly interesting.

Just rename the special "Barbara Walters 10 Biggest Names Who Would Agree To An Interview" and be done with it.

I have to agree with PC on this one. That is a terrible list.

Would John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman be a single entry?

Mauer: No way. Not unless Jason Kendall was making these lists 10-12 years ago.

Saraceno: Haha...but seriously, have they ever picked a sportswriter?

Bernie Williams: Not a bad pick, the guy is an amazing guitarist and a timely choice with him being up for election to the Hall of Fame. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say Bernie could hold his own against most of the guitarists on that Rolling Stone list.

I agree with you the people on that list are overexposed. If I never saw Trump or Cowell again it wouldn't bother me. But if you're not interested in seeing a prime time interview of the DiMaggio of our time, well I don't know what's wrong with you...

I'm guessing the last three will be Charlie Sheen, Hillary Clinton and....I got nothing.
