Bumpers, just north of Zip City, Ala.
In another life i used to shag bottles there so the owners would give me beer when i ran out of cash.

A quite unique clientele to be sure. You are a versatile dude, partying there and in Westport.

I've spent many-a day and night at the Flora-Bama in Perdido Key. One of my all-time favorites.

I enjoy the Crown & Anchor. Decent beer selection, laid back atmosphere. Couple of blocks away on Trop.

Not a huge fan of Vintage. I'd much rather hit up Natt Spil or Essen Haus.

Hmm, I hung out there one night. We were about the only people there most of that evening.

Can't comment on the rest, but I'll second the recommendation of Essen Haus. I learned how to polka there.

Zip City it's a good thing that they built a wall around you
Zip up to Tennessee then zip back down to Alabama

If you are going to do PJ Clarke's for the preservationist reason, you have to hit the one on 55th and 3rd. I am not sure the ones in Sao Paolo, Brazil, Las Vegas. ... or near Lincoln Center have the same history.

Some faves from my travels this year ...

Missoula -- Iron Horse, Rhino, Red's
South Beach -- Clevelander. Not chill, but great people watching and cold El Presidente on tap.
    Boston -- MJ O'Connors, Stoddards

    I'll take any Orlando suggestions.

True. Should have specified, but figured the McSorley's reference implied the original.
