Bands you saw in concert before they were famous

    Saw The Band a number of timeswhen they were known as The Hawks and played for Ronnie Hawkins who was a legend in the Toronto area from the time he arrived from Arkansas in the early 60's

    Saw Gavin DeGraw right as he was breaking.
    Saw Alien Ant Farm two months before they had their one hit. Opening up for Papa Roach (yeah, I was in my angry white boy phase), AAF was just terrible. Tried to play "Smooth Criminal" as the closer, but it was absolutely the wrong choice for that crowd - got booed off the stage. Twenty minutes later, after Orgy had finished their set, the lead singer was drowning his sorrows at the bar and no one gave a damn he was sitting with us common folk.
