Bands or musicians that you like that everybody else seems to hate

There are times when I'm driving and have this urge to put in "Countdown to Extinction" by Megadeth. Great album.

No mentions of John Mayer. That guy seems universally loathed. Anyone here wanna admit liking him?

 

I liked him before he was born and after he died.

 

Rob Thomas. The show wasn't offensive, but the audience was basically women aged 30-plus and their soon-to-be-ex-husbands.
Some of the women were going nuts. Struck me as a latter day Englebert Humperdinck.

I find Gene an interesting character.

Somewhere, typefitter plays another game on his KISS pinball machine and ponders his next quest.

I think Junkie is a fan, too.

 

I like Seger.
