Ban the book, no matter what

    Hope this isn't considered a political post.

    Some of the morons on the Texas State Board of Education was going through a list of books to be approved for public schools. One children's book got banned because its author had the same name as a college professor who had written a book about Communism.

    See River's link. And I used to work in Texas, so I saw this kind of thing, too. It's not an isolated deal. There are reasonable parts of the state ... but these people are pretty much in charge. Take a look at your governor.
