Wasn't this kid already in Saban's doghouse?

Either way, Bama's still gonna win the national championship, right? Right?

It has been an open secret that Johns has had a chronic case of dumbass. Still, I figured he would be on the buying end of this transaction.

I know an assistant who used to call the team's first game, "The suspension game" because of all the players who would have to miss it because of things they did during the off-season.

Good thing it was usually a I-AA opponent.

Not starting with Clemson... however, Tulane and Western Kentucky might have a chance until halftime

Mississippi prep player of the year (in many circles) as a QB/offensive threat at Brookhaven High
Wanted by everyone in-state, and many out-of-state schools.
Never evolved into what coaches wanted.
Rumored all along to have drug involvement, according to many sources.
What a sad case. Hope he gets straight eventually.
    He was a good one.

Frat boys from Hoover, Mountain Brook and Vestavia start to panic because he might out them...
A week and a half to trust them?

(From the Tuscaloosa News)... Johns had been selling cocaine to UA students, said Capt. Jeff Snyder, commander of the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force. It only took undercover officers about a week and a half to gain his trust and make the purchases, he said.

“We were kind of surprised that we were able to buy the cocaine as quickly and easily as we did,” Snyder said. “And I’m surprised that we didn’t hear that he was selling it before we did.”

Although he is well known around campus, and wasn’t reluctant to sell drugs to new customers, Snyder said, Johns didn’t want his UA teammates to know.

“He did the best he could to ensure that none of them knew,” he said. “We believe his source was an individual outside the University community.”
