    Hell yeah. And I like the Sox, and was rooting like crazy when the D-Backs beat the Yanks, but he is almost impossible to root for

    Regardless of who you're a fan of, rooting for a guy to be permanently injured is among the more classless acts on the planet, and there's nothing you can say to justify doing it or to make yourself look better for having participated.

    Abbott could be a prick at times. He knew he was an oddity and played that card when it suited him.
    Davecky was simply a dick. No if, ands or buts about it.
