I thought this was wild. Bansky, the graffiti artist whose artwork has sold for more than $1 million, apparently set up a stall near Central Park on Saturday selling original canvases for $60 a pop (don't know if it was him at the stall, because he guards his identity).

He didn't sell out. The first woman bought two and negotiated him down to $30 a piece. One guy bought four of them for $240.

I would never buy a Bansky. I find him too derivative of Banksy.

Had never heard of this dude until someone tried to sell a Banksy Buck on Pawn Stars.

I've got to say, I get a kick out of some of his stuff.

For those who haven't seen it, check out Exit Through the Gift Shop. Good stuff.

Banksky has been making his way around NYC. Here is a link to some of work
he has done recently. Some already altered or painted over.

He struck 25 feet away from where I live today. It is really simple, but very cool given the backdrop. Maybe I will post a picture, but it would pretty much give everyone my address.

So Tribeca then? Locations and dates are posted on the web site.

  10. If Tribeca is an address, then Ragu can expect drop-on guests
