Baffling sequels

    Not a sequel, but Sony is apparently remaking Jumanji for 2016. Comes out Christmas Day.

    Sony really has its finger on the pulse of the American moviegoer.

    In addition to a Jumanji remake, we're getting Bad Boys 3 AND Bad Boys 4.

    Ebert once said that people should remake shitty movies and not good ones. It makes a lot of sense.

    So in five years we can expect another Fantastic Four remake? I haven't seen it but the newest one has been taking it hard.
     
  7. I don't understand how they can keep fucking up the Fantastic Four? They've made what four or five tries and none are worth a damn.
    I was never a big fan of the foursome - loved their villains though ... Dr. Doom is one of my all-time favorites.

    This scares me (no pun intended). This is one of those stand alone movies that just worked so well. Glad Ryder is attached, hope it does the original justice.
