Bad timing by the Globe

    Re: Edes. It definitely wouldn't go to court, because the whole concept is ridiculous.

    If he could show that a certain group of people were favored --- for example, only women got the buyout --- he might have a topic to discuss. Under these circumstances, no.

    Now, if the Globe had fired him AND had refused to give him a buyout, that might be worth a lawsuit.
