    This song actually hit No. 1 in April 1990. I've never even heard of it or the guy who sang it. It's horrible. And it involved New Kids on the Block -- I'll Be Your Everything by Tommy Page:


    No tournament needed.

    I think the history of No. 1 hits should tell us it doesn't mean diddly in the way of quality.

    To wit: MMMBop and Macarena both went to the top.
