Ryan, that "donk" who is Bascik, to his credit, is not interested in telling the world that he gave up #756. Shit happens and he appreciates you reminding people of that.

Bacsik makes about as much money working for The Ticket as he did making the MLB minimum (and this incident, naturally, got heavy rotation on the station today).

FWIW, Bascik is a local sportstalk radio guy in Dallas, and he's actually pretty good. Though he went a bit over the top a couple weeks ago when he said the Cowboys should have deliberately tried to take out Favre's knees in retaliation for that late run-up-the-score TD pass. He equated it to baseball, saying if a hitter had shown him up by taking 45 seconds to round the bases after a homer or by bunting for a hit in an 8-1 game, Bascik would have drilled him in the back every at-bat for the rest of the season (that's what he said, anyway). Other than that, he has seemed quite sane and lucid.

making as much money as a producer for the ticket as the mlb minimum? not even close to being close.

Good for him. I still had no idea who he was until today.

Look at what everyone else at the Ticket is making. They are a ratings powerhouse (No. 1 in the 25-54 demo for about a decade straight) and a license to print money.

We know Greggo pulled half a million a year (and snorted it all away) thanks to that exposé. Dunham and Miller are pulling high six figures if not a million each.

    Bacsik is doing OK.

(I should've clarified he was making a prorated minimum; the most appearances he ever had in a season was 29 in 2007 with the Nats.)
