B.C. paper in trouble for publishing racist letter

    They guy who wrote that blog post really soft-pedaled the content of the letter. The only section he included was a suggestion that the First Nation members do a better job of assimilation, which makes it seem like the backlash is wildly inappropriate. That's misleading. The rest of the letter is a rant about how stupid and historically inferior the people of the tribe have been.

    The sad part is I've seen worse in U.S. papers. I guess the folks in BC are just used to being more civil and have higher standards.
