True, but I'd really like to see them go the other way with this one and do something darker and more serious in tone than the original. Make sure the A-Team guns down some bad guys within the first five minutes.

Still, the Peppard-for-laughs trophy was retired decades ago, with The Carpetbaggers.

    The new A-Team:

    Liam Neeson as Hannibal
    Bradley Cooper as Face
    Some guy as Murdock
    Rampage Jackson as BA

And Jessica Biel as the Army general chasing them?

Well, she'll be a lot better to look at than the William Lucking/Jack Ging/Lance LeGault triumvirate of middle-aged actors filling the role.

"We need someone who is believable as an Army general."

"Why don't we find a hot 20-something actress?"

    "Perfect, is Jessica Biel available?"

I'm assuming Biel would be somebody hiring the A-Team, but hey, she could look hot in a uniform.

Oskar Schindler as Hannibal in a remake of a TV series. Somehow, I feel I should weep.

    Oh, and LOL!

I'm stunned they were able to get a decent cast. I guess some studio threw a shitload of money at the project and they were able to get Neeson, Cooper and Biel.

Meanwhile, The Hangover gets made for $11 million and Big Fan gets made for $350,000.

I especially liked the shootouts where nobody got shot.

Oh, come on. B.A. got wounded once and had to take a transfusion of Murdock's blood, didn't he?

I must have missed that one ... :D

Seriously... I used to watch the shooting scenes and think to myself, "If these guys are the A Team.. I'd hate to see the B Team."...

Yeah, it was silly. I really would like to see them play this straight, which would mean people actually getting hurt and maybe even a death or two with all the shooting.
