    I can just imagine what he looked like prior to the surgery. The "after" pics are simply amazing.

    I was surprised by how good he looks, except for the missing eye. Good luck to him.

    t_b_f, are you seeing many Iraq vets missing limbs, etc., who are back on active duty? Probably not in aviation, but in other roles?

    Yeah. You see a few, but not too many.

    I've seen more burn victims return to duty.

    I salute this soldier and the thousands of others who continue to do their country proud with their steadfast service and sacrifice. God bless him and all his fellow service men and women.
