To all sports editors: Unfortunately, I won't be attending the World Cup from Qatar, but I will be watching from afar. I can write analysis, opinions, features, perspectives about the U.S. national team and other teams and matches. I have covered eight men's World Cups (and five Women's World Cups). I also have written four books about the Greatest Show on Earth (ie. the World Cup), so I certainly can put things into perspective.

    Thanks,

    Michael Lewis
