AV Club: The 50 Best Films of the 90s

    Not bad, if we establish that traditional comedies are not allowed because who would want to laugh.

    That's a good point... At least the AV Club had Election in it's top 50...

    One I haven't seen on anyone's list -- The Professional. Now called Leon: The Professional.

    Not top 10, but I'd consider it for top 50.

    Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels would be in my top 20.

    Gremlins 2 is an incredibly underrated movie. Maybe one of the better parodies/self-parodies ever. Not sure it belongs on a Top 50 list, but it was a very funny movie.

    And for the folks mentioning Office Space, that's a great movie and a classic, but I'm not sure it's among the 50 best of the decade. It really falls apart in the second half, once Ron Livingston's character starts to come out of his hypnosis-induced rush of confidence. The last 45 minutes are nowhere near as good as the first 45.
