Paul Casey just kicked in a bogey to win a thrilling playoff over JB Holmes at the Houston Open.

Masters week has arrived. Is a Tiger victory a foregone conclusion against the rest of these choke artists?

I must not be down with all the 'Net abbreviations...what is ATUAO??

Today's "sign of the apocalypse" moment: there's a "Masters Tournament" Facebook page. The updates are cool, like today's which reported that Tiger, Mickelson and Furyk all teed it up this afternoon.

Jeez, that's a lot of thinking for this place.

Between tomorrow night and Sunday, the Jim Nantz corn-y-meter will be pegged.

    I'm predicting somewhere between a 17.5 and 18.

A little music to set the mood for the week.

I am disappointed to see that Masters coverage on Thursday and Friday doesn't begin until 4. I figured something like this would at least begin in the early afternoon, if not earlier.

Is there any chance for a replacement of the Nantz-cornball presentation? How long are we going to be subjected to the "Freddie and I were roommates" schmaltz? In a perfect world, it would be Miller announcing the Masters.

CBS would shut down news, cancel CSI, and drop the NFL before giving up the Masters.

Did I see where Stew Daddy Cink is playing with Tiger on Thursday? Tiger might as well quit now. :)

Yep. And that last group, with Kim, McIlroy and Ishikawa ought to be a treat.
