The real thing that set me off was someone I know who was live tweeting some random HS lacrosse game from BFE ... without using a single hashtag. Who does that serve? The 35 people who give a shit are there already.

And yet your 674-word opus somehow leaves out the word "lacrosse."

You're a very focused and efficient writer.

The lacrosse game set me off but the basketball ones are the ones I really did not understand simply because there were THREE media members doing running play by play at the same time.
But, based on the reaction to this thread I should learn to live with it or ignore posts I don't like.
Feel free to do the same. :)

Let's ask Bryan Price what he thinks about this. [crossthread]

My two cents: Whether or not we like it, these tweets and FB posts are increasingly what companies want in terms of reader engagement. And if you're not willing to do it, the bosses have five or 10 people waiting at the door who will.

His board name is Schiezainc. He calls himself Schieza.

Other posters call him Schieza. Some other posters call him Scheiz.

I don't give a shit about twitter, but can we get a ruling on the name?
