    Kinda down in there ... here's the relevant passage:

    I have no particular expertise on this -- Starman's our go-to guy on something like this -- but I do know that meteorites haul ass. They're faster than ICBMs (which have proved devilishly difficult to shoot down (c.f., SDI)). I'm not saying there's no damn way, but there's no damn way.

    There are several dashcam videos of the meteor. Which makes me wonder why so many cars in Russia have dash cameras.
