    I could've sworn Zubaz was a product of the '80s that had mostly residual awfulness in the '90s.

    It was, but it had legs into the 90s.

    Two weightlifters who owned a gym developed the concept for comfortable and fashionable! pants? for those of a larger size and took it to market.

    Growing up, I made all my shorts out of cut-off jeans.

    Parachute pants with bandanas tied around the legs. And a jean jacket I bleached and shredded. Wore that ensemble proudly.

    Well, hell, so did I as a kid. There weren't choices back then. You cut your jeans off.

    That doesn't count.

    Jorts, the store-bought product.

    I'm still going with yes on the store-bought product!
